Workers for a Free Palestine brings together people from a range of sectors, unions, and movements to coordinate action in response to the call from Palestinian trade unions to disrupt Israel’s war machine.
We believe that the Zionist regime of settler colonialism, apartheid, and genocide will only come to an end if the pro-Palestine movement collectively challenges it from all sides, embracing a diversity of tactics and building power in our workplaces and communities
At Workers for a Free Palestine, we are organising long-term with workers, building the mass power necessary to make ruling class support for Zionism untenable.
Our work takes different forms, such as outreach with workers in strategic sectors like arms and logistics; organising assemblies where workers can come together to share learnings and strategies for effective Palestine solidarity organising; and supporting campaigns and forms of action in other sectors where there is pre-existing militant pro-Palestine organising and sentiment.
We have also organised mass pickets of weapons factories in Britain complicit in Israel’s war crimes, as well as shutting down government offices in an attempt to create a political crisis within the ruling class.
Since October 2023, the pro-Palestine movement worldwide has felt a deep sense of urgency in the face of Israel’s relentless campaign of death and devastation. We are organising to demand our workplaces, sectors, and unions cut all ties with Zionism – understanding that the global system that upholds Zionism is the same one that disempowers workers everywhere.
